I am a child
Not a man
I am a child
Coddled within delusions
Liberty, Freedom, Individuality
Living outside reality
Starvation, Opression, Segragation
Unable to fathom strife
And no book can educate that
I am a child
Not a man
I stumble and fall
Stumble and fall
Over and over
Unyielding; never looking back
Never looking down
to see that pebble
I am lost in innosense
Romanticism, euphoria, Passion for life
Wandering aimlessly for stability
Searching for truth
Hi and Low
In circles of emptiness
I am a child
Not a man
Falling through Love
Like a bullet shattering a pane glass window
Echoing over the priest's sermon
Racing through Life
Fleating moments never known
Sinking into my afterthoughts
With blinders I dance
In a clausterphobic pandemonium
Alone
I am a child
Not a man
Born in a haze
of clarvoyance
I see tomorrow
Though lose it by morning
Ever smiling through life
Refusing to show emotion
Scared of life with them
I am a child
Not a man
Saying Hello with no thought
Holding on to Good-byes
But there are far to many of both yet to come
I am a child
Not a man
New responsibilities arise
From the ashes of old freedoms
Now I am niether
A child Nor a man.........
